Founded and ran the day to day operations of the Detroit Artists' Test Lab.  A co-working space for artistic entrepreneurs  including an art gallery, photo studio, maker space, podcast studio, event space  and more.  

(pictured is part of a presentation for a sculpture for Bank of America) I have successfully pitched, presented and produced pieces of art work for large corporations such as Jameson, Bank of America, Avion and others 

I needed to get to know my community, so I decided to throw a beach party! Trucked in 12 yards of sand, painted Mack Ave. blue, got a DJ,  invited Red Bull, had Hot Dogs and Lemonade all on a Monday during rush hour so I could introduce myself and my business to everyone

I organized and implemented several public art instillations with youth. I make sure that the young people are involved in every aspect of the project from concept to funding to implementation, so I can show them that it's not  just the art but there is a whole business behind doing an installation  

The goal of most of my personal art work is to get people involved in the art process. This sculpture was a fiberglass apple provided by Eastern Market. I cut open the apple to resemble a bite and made a mini art gallery out of the interior. I then passed out disposable cameras to the kids in the area and made and art show from the results 

My approach to art and business are essentially the same. It's listening to your customers, coming up with creative solutions to make sure everyone  got value.
